Foundation and Blinding Concrete Work, Leveling & Compaction

With site preparation complete, EPF advanced to the critical stage of foundation and blinding concrete work at the District Cooling Plant – Qiddiya. This phase began with detailed site leveling and soil compaction, ensuring a uniform and stable base for the plant’s structural systems.

Blinding concrete was poured to provide a clean, durable surface that enhances rebar accuracy and protects against moisture. Following that, our teams placed reinforced concrete foundations for thermal tanks, RMU rooms, chiller areas, and switchgear facilities — executed under stringent safety and quality standards.

Every cubic meter was measured, tested, and documented, reflecting EPF’s commitment to reliability, precision, and the long-term performance of Qiddiya’s infrastructure.
