Role Overview:
The Site Engineer is responsible for managing and supervising day-to-day construction site operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and timelines. This role bridges the gap between design and execution — coordinating with engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver EPF’s high-quality construction standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision & Execution
- Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with project plans.
- Check drawings, measurements, and materials to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with surveyors, subcontractors, and equipment teams for smooth site operations.
- Ensure that construction work meets quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Coordination & Communication
- Report progress to the Project Manager and assist in updating schedules.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and project management regarding site progress and issues.
- Prepare and maintain daily site reports, inspection requests, and material records.
Quality & Safety Compliance
- Implement EPF’s Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards at the site.
- Conduct toolbox talks and support safety teams to maintain safe working conditions.
- Inspect materials, workmanship, and ensure corrective actions are taken where needed.
Documentation & Planning
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings, material submittals, and inspection requests (IR).
- Track work progress versus the schedule and notify any delays or design discrepancies.
- Verify subcontractor work quantities for billing and progress certification.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience as a Site Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of Saudi construction codes and standards is an advantage.
