Role Overview:
The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of EPF construction projects. The role involves coordination with site teams, project managers, and stakeholders to manage timelines, resources, and progress reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
- Prepare baseline programs, progress updates, and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with site teams to track actual progress versus planned progress.
- Identify delays, risks, and critical paths, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support project management in forecasting and resource allocation.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on project status and milestones.
- Collaborate with estimation and cost control teams for project planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management.
- Minimum 5+ years experience as a Planning Engineer in construction or infrastructure.
- Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
- Knowledge of project management standards and reporting techniques.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
