Role Overview:

The Scaffolding Supervisor will oversee all scaffolding works on EPF project sites, ensuring that erection, alteration, and dismantling activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with international standards and project requirements. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision & Execution

• Plan, supervise, and monitor scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling.

• Ensure scaffolds are built according to design specifications, load requirements, and safety standards.

• Coordinate scaffolding requirements with engineers, supervisors, and site management.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce strict adherence to EPF’s Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies.

• Carry out regular inspections and maintain scaffold tagging (Green/Red tags).

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, BS EN, and Saudi Aramco standards (where applicable).

Documentation & Planning

• Prepare scaffolding permits, inspection reports, and daily activity logs.

• Manage scaffolding material inventory to prevent shortages or wastage.

• Maintain accurate records of scaffolding usage and safety checks.

Team Leadership

• Lead and guide scaffolding teams, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety.

• Train scaffolders on best practices, safe handling, and hazard awareness.

• Act as the primary point of contact for scaffolding-related site requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / Technical Certificate in Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline.

• 3+ years of scaffolding supervision experience in construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects.

• Certified Scaffolding Supervisor (CITB, CISRS, or equivalent).

• Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards and load calculations.

• Proven leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced project environments.
