The Procurement Operations Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating all procurement activities related to materials, equipment, and services required for EPF’s construction and commercial projects. This role ensures that all purchasing operations are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with company policies, approved vendors, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Planning & Execution
- Prepare, issue, and evaluate Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (PO).
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Ensure compliance with EPF’s procurement policies and project-specific requirements.
- Maintain and update vendor databases, ensuring supplier qualification and performance tracking.
Coordination & Documentation
- Collaborate with project, site, and finance teams for timely material delivery and payment processing.
- Track procurement schedules aligned with project planning and construction timelines.
- Prepare procurement status reports, comparison sheets, and progress summaries.
- Manage logistics coordination for imported materials and ensure documentation compliance.
Cost & Quality Control
- Monitor material costs and identify opportunities for savings.
- Support the evaluation of technical submittals in coordination with engineering teams.
- Ensure materials meet technical specifications, safety standards, and project quality requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in procurement within construction or contracting industries.
- Strong knowledge of vendor management, material sourcing, and ERP procurement systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and procurement software tools.
- Familiarity with Saudi procurement regulations and import documentation is a plus.
